Model Building Overview

Two workflows are currently supported by the Geographic Automata Add-In tools. The integrated nature of the modeling tools allow users to leverage the existing wealth of geoprocessing tools available in ArcGIS Pro for processing, analyzing, and visualizing raster datasets.

The Basic Cellular Automata workflow supports binary models for rapid experimentation with simple, built-in Transition Rules.

Alternatively, the Advanced Cellular Automata workflow enables more complex binary or multi-class modeling with as many rules and rule types as a user requires.
